Published

International workspace provider HB Reavis has welcomed Corio Generation and Freshwave to its Ready to Work concept at Bloom Clerkenwell in London – a flexible, fully-fitted and managed workspace, enhanced by its bespoke tech platform.
Ready to Work is real estate innovator HB Reavis’ next generation of managed and serviced workspace. Taking an entire floor of Bloom Clerkenwell; the design is based on the company’s core strategy to create spaces that suit the needs of occupiers who want to create a thriving company culture – fusing flexible design with convenient services and amenities, all underpinned by sustainability and technology
Corio Generation has taken almost 6,000 sq ft. of space in Ready to Work. A newly launched portfolio company of Macquarie’s Green Investment Group, Corio Generation is a global offshore wind business, operating on a standalone basis.

Connectivity infrastructure-as-a-Service provider Freshwave had outgrown its previous co-working space choosing to create its new HQ in the c. 3,300 sq ft Ready to Work space. Freshwave has also joined HB Reavis’ nearby HubHub co-work space for further flexibility to host meetings and events.

Both Corio Generation and Freshwave are already benefitting from Bloom’s offering as a result of moving their operations to Ready to Work. The building supports both hybrid-working patterns and fosters collaboration. A variety of workspaces are on offer to work and meet, from the communal terrace to the coffee bar Bloom Lounge. Bloom Clerkenwell encourages and enables sustainable commuting and active lifestyles, with bookable Brompton bikes and direct street level access from the Cycle Superhighway. The building is also well connected due to its proximity to Farringdon Station – the only station where three Underground lines cross with Thameslink and the new Elizabeth line.
Bloom Clerkenwell has recently been awarded WELL Platinum (Core & Shell), BREEAM Outstanding and WiredScore Platinum – the UK’s first commercial building to achieve all three of the highest-level certifications. It is also rated EPC A and offers the potential to be net zero carbon in operation. Securing the accreditations exemplifies HB Reavis’ core objective to deliver best-in-class workspaces that prioritise employee wellbeing, sustainability and enhance user experience through technology and services.
Ready to Work’s integration with HB Reavis’ tech platform Symbiosy, enables both companies to access workspace data for insights on the use of the workspace, with ongoing support by a dedicated workspace consultancy team to analyse and interpret the data. Through Symbiosy’s mobile app and in-office tablets, employees are empowered to book the ideal workspace that suits their activities – whether for collaborative meetings or focused work zones. They can customise lighting and temperature settings and journey through the space seamlessly as well as use the app for desk and meeting room bookings to support hybrid workplace strategies.
